Judges that will judge on merits not politics. A new class is needed. Has been discussed but no action consistently. One idea was to get young lawyers. Have you ideas on how to approach?
When he says “he pushed for and audit and they said no we’re not going to risk it” who are the “they” he is talking about? Why are people afraid of “they”?
But to directly answer the question, would be anyone authorized to do that audit, which I THINK could simply be the Otter Tail BPOU, but I think other bodies could also authorize it, such as the State Convention, since the State Convention delegates/alternates were ALTERED as a result of the BPOU-level delegates being changed, which thereafter affected every level of elections in Minnesota. Sneaky stuff, but those breaking the law didn't get away with it... at least not in the court of public opinion.
Thank you for the question. I would have to check with Carol Hexum, who was speaking with Bill Nichols here. In general, my feeling is that people are afraid of "they" because they do not wish to rock the boat, lose something trivial like their own "reputation", or actually come under attack (the MNGOP Chair has sued Edwin Hahn for instance)... The problem for "them" is that they deal in lies. Why do they lie? In a recent interview with Shannon Sharpe, comedian Katt Williams quipped, "No one knows why liars lie." With regard to findings in Guiffre v. Maxwell, in some cases at least, I think it is rather safe to say we know why liars lie. What proves David Hann's feelings about this is the promotion of Mandy Heffron (who committed delegate list tampering in a different county, Morrison County) to the role of coordinating this year's precinct caucuses.
We really need to work on getting conservative judges elected to the courts, as well! Is this being discussed in the grass roots circles at all?

I don’t currently have ideas on how to approach but I feel it’s a very critical need in our state.

Thank you for explaining that.
