A disservice to the public?
Open source intelligence is available for us to research (and we should use freedom of information act requests and public data requests to get more of it)

It is the opinion of this writer that issuing reports without redactions probably would have served the public better, allowing the public to react to information sooner rather than later.
How many reports have you read this year that it would have been nice to have months or years sooner to make a critical informed decision or to gain access to pertinent facts affecting your ability to navigate the world in general?
I merely raise the issues of this historical record from 10 June 1976 so as to make the point without elevated emotion.
