87/87 counties notified
None so far have published pre-election testing online for public viewing ahead of Aug 13 primary election
A personalized version of below was sent to all 87 county’s auditor/election-officials.
The reason the PAT is asked for is because it is the most basic check on the tabulators (many modem-equipped)—even though these PAT/LAT’s are open to public, the results, including the detailed reports, should be available for voters to review.
Please consider following up with your county auditor/election-official or election manager.
Hi Elections Team,
The most recent 87-county audit from Midwest Seeds (https://erikvanmechelen.substack.com/p/status-needs-improvement-mn-election) showed that 0/87 counties had so far made their recent county-level Public Accuracy Test (PAT), also known as the Logic & Accuracy Test (LAT), available online to the public.
As you know, the county tabulators will process absentee ballots (most cities outsource to the county) for the upcoming Aug 13 primary election, and so the public would like to know that these tests were done according to the rules and Minnesota law.
Please note this opportunity to instill public confidence in accessible, secure, and accurate elections by publishing the county's detailed report (not the summary report) from the PAT before the Aug 13 primary election.
Thank you,
Erik
