Steve Simon's Last Year as Secretary of State (Part 1)
a co-created video
2026 is Steve Simon’s last year as the Minnesota Secretary of State. His last year as the President of the National Association of the Secretaries of State. His last year certifying electronic, internet-connected equipment from vendors like ES&S and KNOWiNK. His last year ignoring appeals (even from county commissioners) for true audits. His last year talking about how much Minnesotans must trust their elections, because just look at our turnout! (A turnout number which is manufactured, an unaudited calculation, as unaudited as most of the electronic equipment, as dubious as the state voter rolls—which enable mass mail-in tactics—voter files as yet preserved from the DOJ’s request, now pending a suit.)
Not many people are imagining this is Steve Simon’s last year (or Jocelyn Benson’s or Maggie Toulouse Oliver’s. etc.). However as soon as we collectively do imagine this, and other things in this domain, such as Tina Peters being freed, it is already done. Imagination precedes manifestation.
Now, I’m not one to over-focus on a particular puppet within a scheme, of which the current Secretary is most certainly playing a role—defender of democracy (Time Magazine cover), spokesman for fair elections, finding ‘the intersection between security and accessibility’ (this is presented as a tradeoff but elections should have high levels of both), county partner, appearing quoted in letters suggesting felonies to election judges using paper poll books, and some have suggested, architect, carefully overseeing the rollout of electronic rosters (KNOWiNK iPads) and voicing no disagreement with legislative changes mandating electronic tabulators and effectively outlawing hand counting (except in the post-election review two weeks after election day).
Instead, I tend to focus on the system level. If there are no audits (in Minnesota, less than 1% of ovals are reviewed but only after county level certifications), how can anyone know the true results? If we cannot see the source code of the software, how can we verify it is functioning as advertised? If the source of truth for election information, the statewide voter registration system (SVRS), does not have to be accurate until 6 weeks post election (again, after certification), what route to candidates, or citizens, have to check the ‘official’ results? … & etc.
So, to make it real that this is Steve Simon’s last year as Secretary, what is a scene that can be imagined, and assumed, so vividly, with such powerful positive emotion, that also IMPLIES that he is gone? To do so, I like to envision a group of neighbors in a room hand counting paper ballots, manually, using their eyes, brains, and minds to observe and experience it all, the gratitude in their hearts full.
Since Steve Simon, or rather, the system that he represents, would never tolerate such hand counting, especially a room filled with all kinds of people actually having fun tallying the votes for a variety of great candidates (some even running independent of political parties), even laughing as they do it, then by implication, Steve Simon is already gone from the stage.
This approach works for anything, as it seems to me to be a law of the universe. Prayers only work if also assuming what is prayed for has already occurred. The process is within, not an ask from anything outside of you. The assumption, as Neville Goddard (YT link) has put it, is the key; the assumption is to live from the state of the desire fulfilled.
Practically speaking, one then takes inspired and natural actions in accordance with the powerful vision that is revisited frequently, throughout one’s day, but also before sleep.
In this case, one thing that the group receiving this email might do is to perform an internet search, or dig into one’s own archives, to provide me clips, quotes, and other curiosities related to the current secretary who is in his last year. (Just hit ‘reply’ to this email, and send.) For example, there is a good one I’ve already saved where he says on November 4th, 2020, something like, Last night we pulled off something big almost flawlessly. One could piece all this clips together… The idea being to co-create a short, 3-minute video, of factual information about the current Secretary’s part in the story that has unfolded to this point.
So there is no confusion: I think replacing Steve Simon with just anybody with an R (or D) next to their name would be a failure of our imagination. The system is what others have vividly imagined and so it has come into our common shared reality. I suspect that part of the awakening that many speak of—although this language has decreased somewhat of late—is actually about our capability to imagine assumptively (and probably much more) and to guard our thinking from intrusion. Whether we use our imagination consciously or unconsciously, the movement from thought to destiny is an eternal stream.
